MRI results

Good news back from the MRI - no torn ligaments or other injuries that would require surgery. There is still some fluid left in the shoulder from the inflammation after I injured it, but nothing that won't heal. The doc gave me the go ahead to start "real" physical therapy. Which I'm pretty sure means painful physical therapy. I've already started some mild strengthening exercises using a large rubberband like thingy. I think the physical therapist called it a thermaband. Anyway, just thought I'd share the good news. Hopefully I'll be back swimming early next year.

phew! well, physical therapy is great. think of it as "challenging" not "painful." :)
I have had numerous "therabands" which is maybe what you have.
I'm not swimming much either, giving my lower back a break on the twisting, etc...
