The blackberries are ripe and oh so yummy. They are growing along our back fence - Carson and I had fun picking and eating them this afternoon (he has some cute pictures on his blog). I haven't had blackberries since we lived in the UC Village (married and family housing at UC Berkeley - we lived there for the first 4 years I was in grad school). But we made some of the best blackberry homemade ice cream back then. I think we may have to try that again.....
