Leftovers

Thanksgiving is all about the leftovers. This morning we made english muffin, fried egg and ham sandwiches. Yummy. I'm looking forward to a hot turkey sandwich with my homemade cranberry sauce (which was wonderfully tart!) as well. I'm convinced people make the cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving solely for the purpose of having it the day after Thanksgiving for turkey sandwiches.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving. A house full of friends made it especially nice. Everyone left full and with a plate of leftovers. We wouldn't have been able to fit all of the food back in our little refridgerator. It was quite a challenge getting all of the food ready all at one time and delivered to the table hot, but we managed pretty well. Everyone pitched in after dinner and helped with the dishes (thanks!!) so I was left with very little clean up which was very appreciated. After dinner we played a rousing game of Taboo! Girls vs Guys. And of course, the girls won!
